Mastectomy Tattoos - Covering Scars With Design

**Mastectomy Tattoo Client photos are seen here**

Warning, this is a recreation of nudity, not posted for exposure.

A culmination of Sam R's experience and principles, exchange of ideas with her clients and a love of human anatomy. Sam flows with a light approach, using natural elements, portraits and nature. With roots in body painting, Sam knows the human body and captures people's imagination with her work.

Sam's work starts with an emotional connection with the work and her tattoo subjects.

"The work that (Sam) is doing... is not just of a talented artist, which Sam is, it's more of a healer. The energy that comes from her heart and soul goes directly into every piece that she does."

These examples are A.R.T.(TM) 3-D Areola Restorative Tattoos done by Stacie-Rae Weir and myself, SamR. Stacie-Rae is my mentor, I established a formal apprenticeship with her in 2012. She has developed a Tattoo System and A.R.T. Certification to set the standard for Post-Matectomy Specialty Tattooing.

  • As a "Pre-vivor" Stacie-Rae has had her own personal journey with a preventative double mastectomy, reconstruction and consequently Areola Restorative Tattooing.
  • As a Teacher, Stacie-Rae fosters OUR need for professional development!

A.R.T. Certification is available to seasoned Tattooers, Professional Cosmetic Tattooers and Registered Nurses (as well as other support staff in the medical industry), as we ALL want to create the best results for our Breast Cancer Survivor Clients.
